FAQ
Choosing and booking
How much does the Sapadere Canyon tour cost?
From Alanya: 33 € per adult and 23 € per child aged 4–10 for the canyon tour; 40 € / 30 € for the canyon and Dim River tour. From Side: 35 € / 23 €. Infants up to 3 travel free on all three. The price is paid on the tour day, in euros.
How do I book, and do I pay in advance?
Reserve on this site in five steps or on WhatsApp. Nothing is paid online and no card is asked for; you pay the operator on the morning of the tour. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes. The Alanya tours collect from hotels between Okurcalar and Kargıcak, in the 08:30–09:30 window depending on the hotel. The Side tour collects from Gündoğdu to Kızılot at the operator's typical resort times. Your exact time is confirmed the day before.
How far is Sapadere Canyon from Alanya, and how long is the day?
The canyon lies east of Alanya in the Taurus foothills, roughly 40–45 km from the centre depending on the route and your hotel. The canyon tour is about 7 hours door to door; the Dim River version about 8. From the Side coast it is about 110 km each way and about 8 hours.
Which days does the tour run?
The two Alanya tours run every day in season. The Side tour runs on Wednesdays and Sundays. The booking calendar shows the days that can be reserved.
Can I book for tomorrow?
Yes, online until the day before. For a same-day request, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether there is a place.

FAQ
At the canyon
Can you swim in Sapadere Canyon?
Usually, yes — in the natural pools beneath the waterfalls, when conditions allow and where the guide says it is safe. The water is spring-fed and cold all year, cold in August too. Swimming is optional; many guests paddle or watch from the platforms.
How long is the walkway, and how difficult is it?
About 750 m of timber walkway with handrails, hung above the river between rock walls up to about 400 m high. Easy walking with some steps and uneven sections; no hiking experience needed. Not suitable for guests with serious mobility difficulties.
Is the canyon entrance ticket included?
On both Alanya tours, yes. On the Side tour the canyon ticket is paid at the gate. The cave tickets — Cüceler Cave on the canyon tours, Dim Cave on the Dim River tour — are always optional and paid locally.
Is lunch included?
Yes, on all three tours: grilled trout or chicken at a restaurant by the water, vegetarian on request. On the Dim River tour lunch is served on platforms built over the river. Drinks are paid separately.
What is the Cüceler (Dwarfs') Cave, and is it included?
A small show cave near the canyon with stalactites and stalagmites and a viewing terrace at the entrance. On the canyon tours it is an optional stop; the ticket is paid at the cave and you may skip it.
What is different about the Dim River tour?
The morning is the same canyon. In the afternoon you go down to the Dim River valley east of Alanya, eat on the floating platforms over the river and can visit Dim Cave (ticket optional). It is a longer day, about 8 hours, at 40 € per adult.

FAQ
Practical
What should I wear and bring?
Shoes with grip for wet timber and rock, swimwear and a towel if you want to swim, a hat and sun protection, and cash in euros for the tour price, drinks and the optional cave ticket. Outside food and drink are not taken into the canyon.
What happens if the weather is bad?
After heavy rain or in winter conditions access to the canyon can be limited. If the day cannot run, we move your reservation to another date or cancel it free of charge — you never pay for a day that did not happen.
What time do we get back?
In the afternoon. The canyon tour is about 7 hours from pickup to drop-off, the Dim River tour about 8, the Side tour about 8. The return moves with the group and the road, so we do not promise a clock time.
Is there a private version?
Yes, on request: a private vehicle, your own group and a pickup time arranged around you, priced per vehicle. Send the date and the size of your party from the private tour page and a person replies with a quote.
Can I take photographs and a phone into the canyon?
Of course — the walkway and the falls are the photograph of the holiday. Keep the phone in a pocket on the steps and away from the water's edge. A photo and video service is not included.
Is insurance included?
Local travel insurance for the day is included in the price of all three tours. It is the operator's insurance for the transfer and the tour, not a substitute for your own travel insurance.

FAQ
Who can come
Is Sapadere Canyon suitable for children?
Yes for children who can walk the walkway on their own feet — it has handrails, steps and uneven sections. Children aged 4–10 pay the child price, infants up to 3 travel free. A pushchair cannot be pushed the whole way; a carrier works.
Is it suitable for seniors?
For anyone who walks comfortably on steps and uneven ground, yes — the walk is short and taken at the group's pace with rests at the water. It is not suitable for guests with serious mobility difficulties or who need a wheelchair.
Is the canyon wheelchair accessible?
No. The walkway has steps and uneven sections and is not suitable for a wheelchair. If someone in your party uses one, message us before booking and we will tell you honestly what is and is not possible.
Can pregnant women or guests with back problems join?
The tour involves a mountain road in a vehicle and a walk with steps; the water is cold. We do not give medical advice — ask your doctor, tell us before booking, and skip the swim if in doubt.
In which languages is the tour guided?
The guides work in English, German, Russian and Turkish. The website and the booking form speak seven languages, and WhatsApp answers in your language where we can.
How big is the group?
The vehicle takes up to 40 guests, and the walkway is walked at the group's pace with a guide. For a smaller party of your own, see the private tour page.
