From Mahmutlar
Mahmutlar is the eastern end of the Alanya resort belt, and Kargıcak beyond it is the last stop before the Demirtaş road turns inland. For the canyon, that geography is a gift: no hotel on the belt has a shorter drive.
The canyon lies inland to the east of Alanya, and Mahmutlar and Kargıcak are the resorts furthest east on the belt. That makes them the shortest ride of any pickup area on the canyon tour — we do not print minutes, because nobody has measured them, but the map does the arguing. The whole day is about 7 hours door to door.
The operator's directory lists 28 hotels across the two resorts — Mahmutlar's long seafront of apartment-hotels and mid-size resorts, and Kargıcak's larger hotels on the slope towards Demirtaş. Pickups on the canyon tour fall in the 08:30–09:30 window, on the Dim River tour around 08:55; your own time is confirmed the day before. A hotel that is not in the directory can still be collected — type it into the form.
The Dim River valley lies between Alanya and Mahmutlar, up the road from Kestel and Tosmur. On the Dim River tour that valley is the afternoon: lunch on platforms over the river, the optional Dim Cave, and a drop-off that is not far from home. For a Mahmutlar guest it is the natural upgrade.
Guests here ask whether they are collected first or last. The route is set the day before from the hotels booked; because the canyon is east, the eastern resorts are simply near the turn-off — and you learn your minute the evening before. Guests in Kargıcak's hillside hotels are collected at the hotel entrance like everywhere else.
Mahmutlar's long seafront of apartment-hotels means many guests stay in self-catering blocks; those are collected too if they are in the directory, and by name if they are not.
