The Sapadere experience
Sapadere is a narrow gorge in the Taurus Mountains east of Alanya. A wooden walkway of about 750 m follows the river between rock walls up to about 400 m high, ending at waterfalls and cold natural pools.
The full canyon guide
A chain of cascades at the end of the walkway, the tallest falling into a turquoise basin you can stand beside — or swim in.
Timber planks and steel handrails hung above the water. Easy walking with some steps and uneven sections; no hiking experience needed.
The drive climbs inland from the coast through villages and forest; the air cools as the road rises.

The mountain village the canyon is named after, passed on the way in. We promise no village stop, so none is invented here.

We do not print a fixed pickup time for your hotel. Yours depends on where you are staying and the day's route; the Alanya tours collect within the 08:30–09:30 window, the Side tour follows its published resort table, and a person confirms your time the day before.
The full itineraryAn air-conditioned vehicle collects you from your hotel in the Alanya belt or on the Side coast in the morning.
The road leaves the coast and climbs inland through villages and pine forest. The Side tour makes a comfort stop on the way, with an optional breakfast.
The vehicle passes through the village the canyon is named after and parks at the canyon entrance.
About 750 m of timber walkway above the river, between rock walls up to about 400 m high, with handrails, some steps and uneven sections.
The walkway ends at a chain of cascades and natural pools — the photograph everyone takes.
Optional. The pools are spring-fed and cold all year; many guests paddle or watch from the platforms.
