Okurcalar on the belt
Everything on the Alanya belt lies east of Okurcalar: İncekum, Avsallar, Türkler, Konaklı, then the town, then Oba, Kestel and Mahmutlar — and beyond them, the canyon. On the canyon tour the vehicle travels the length of the belt before the climb, and the day runs about 7 hours from your hotel and back.
Pickup in Okurcalar
The operator's directory for Okurcalar is the largest on the belt at 30 hotels — big resorts with long entrance roads, so be at the main gate the hotel uses for tours. Pickups fall in the 08:30–09:30 window on the canyon tour and around 08:55 on the Dim River tour, confirmed hotel by hotel the day before.
Okurcalar or the Side departure?
Okurcalar borders the Side coast, so guests here sometimes look at the tour from Side. That departure collects only on the Side coast — its easternmost stop is Kızılot — and runs on Wednesdays and Sundays; Okurcalar belongs to the Alanya belt and is served by the Alanya tours every day. The Alanya tours also include the canyon ticket, which the Side departure does not.
Tours and prices
The canyon tour at €33 per adult and €23 per child aged 4–10 is the natural choice from this far west. The canyon and Dim River tour at €40 / €30 adds a valley east of Alanya and about an hour to a day that is already the belt's longest. Infants up to 3 travel free either way.
Okurcalar's largest resorts have several gates; the tour vehicle uses the main entrance, and the confirmation the evening before names it if the hotel has more than one.
Westernmost, not left out: book the canyon tour from Okurcalar — every day, pickup at the hotel.
