Sapadere Canyon entrance fee: what is included and what is paid at the gate

Included on the Alanya tours

On the canyon tour from Alanya and the canyon and Dim River tour, the Sapadere Canyon entrance ticket is part of the price. You walk from the vehicle onto the walkway; the guide has the tickets. There is nothing to pay at the gate.

Paid at the gate on the Side departure

On the tour from Side the canyon entrance ticket is not in the €35. It is bought at the gate on arrival, in cash, and the guide tells you the amount on the day. This is the operator's own arrangement for the Side departure, and we print it here rather than let it surprise anyone at the canyon.

Why the gate price is not written here

Entrance fees are set by the canyon's operators and can change during a season. A figure typed into a web page in spring becomes a wrong promise by summer, and a wrong promise about money is the kind of thing a guest remembers. So this page does not quote it. Check the current tour inclusion above, bring some cash in euros, and the amount is confirmed at the gate on the day.

The cave tickets

Two caves appear on our days and both are optional. Cüceler (Dwarfs') Cave, near the canyon, is a stop on the canyon tours; Dim Cave is in the Dim River valley on the Dim River tour. In both cases the ticket is paid at the cave by those who go in — it is never part of the tour price and nobody pays for a cave they skipped. Read more on the Cüceler Cave page.

Ticket only, without a tour?

We do not sell canyon tickets on their own — we run guided days with transfer and lunch, and the ticket comes with them. If you plan to drive yourself, the how to get there page explains the options; you would buy your ticket at the gate like any visitor.
